Fabulous piece, Ajay. Very thought provoking. Started marking out sentences I liked to highlight in my comment and then stopped after the fifth sentence. Loved all of it.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant piece. Loved your reflections and what trekking does to you. Your words moved me enough to contemplate attempting my first trek in six years.

What a beautiful piece, Ajay. Thanks. "Much of life's beauty occurs not when we hold steady but when we melt, when the freeze lifts."

Look forward to more.

Ajay, quite a masterpiece. Very evocative, moving and reflective. Made me think about all those parts or me that is deeply iced, hidden, and covered in layers. As you say, the trek outside is a awesome trek within. Enjoyed reading this and look forward to the second part as well.

Made for a good reflective read. Also has given rise to an, unexpected desire- to go for a trek. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Ajay for the suggestions. I reside overseas, though I’m sure there are some local trek groups that hike around in the region.
