Hello Ajay, I read your write up with great interest ,as ,I have witnessed you going through all of the details there in! I liked it very much, keeping the spirit of positiveness , you have been very honest in expressing your experiences.
I loved the ideas of your office in Cequity , they are very new and freedom giving.
And, I love your ideas now, of working from your room gazing at the greenery!
Another brilliant piece! I I enjoyed reading it and your words really made me pause and think.
Could you please do a piece on the people that filled those spaces...how they impacted you and another piece on the decisions...the best the worst...the easiest and toughest...made in those spaces? Thanks!
Bana, I am glad you liked it. Thanks a lot for your suggestion of writing about the people who filled those spaces! Will definitely write more about them, some I keep writing about!
Your piece made me think of the form-context fit in your career. It is a concept by architect Christopher Alexander. The right form does not exist independently; it depends on the context. The tapri, the smoker's space, or the gulmohar-facing room all seem to embody the prevailing context (mind space?) at different points in your career. Wish that you design the best spaces for what's to come.
Lovely & what a coincidence - I remember the Tiecicon House offices although I don't think our paths crossed. I spent my entire career at P&G & we were very conscious of spaces & layouts when we built factories - they're big drivers of a high performance culture. I haven't thought about this in a long time - so this was doubly nostalgic!

Thanks, Satyajit. I will look up Christopher Alexander; thanks for the reference. And I love the concept & the connection to context!

Thanks Rajesh. It's nice to know that we both worked at P&G.
